Abstract 5G Signals
The Modern City with the 5G Technology
China Mobile opened their first flagship store in Hong Kong and contacted me by Studio X to design, animate and execute their crazy ideas. The main purpose here was to visualize vivid 5G signals passing through the abstract structeres resembling modern city.
About the process
How it was made
It was a difficult journey. The digital screen was 7 meters wide and 1 meter high and was surrounding the whole store. The animation was about to be playing in endless loop. And it was supposed to present an abstract yet figurative story at the same time.
Basic animation was done in Cinema 4d and After Effects and also painted over if needed.
