This is the latest design of Philips shavers. The main goal was to present the products through bold light and shadow play.
During this project I worked both as a Creative Lead and a 3D Artist. I developed initial concepts and sketches to later translate them into 3D animation and renders.
About the process
How to portray the skin and product
The main challenge in this project was how to portray the skin and hairs in an artistically and visually appealing way. To achieve that we decided to use mood lighting and to enhance the intimacy atmosphere. In this way, the viewers' eyes focus on this dreamlike aesthetic.
When working on this project, I was working mainly in Houdini and Redshift. During the concepting stage I was using Nuke and Photoshop.
