Rock, paper, scissors
The world of 3D simulations is inspiring but also difficult.
In the recent weeks I was trying to challenge myself and create stories through forces and simulations. The bstract, yet figurative tiny miniatures are portraying the wonderful art of collisions and physics. This all, through its randomness, reminded me the famous game from childhood.
How to not be lost in the simulation cache
?
For this assignment I used SideFX Houdini. The main cloth simulations were achieved with help of Vellum Solvers and rest with POP sims.
To post-produce the final images I used Nuke and After Effects.
To achieve that I created the abstract, sculpture-like elements which interact with Pyro simulation, on top of which I advected the colourful lines. All of this surprised me giving this unexpected and wonderful result.
