Smoke & Mirrors
In this project I wanted to convey an abstract movement, bold lighting and plenty of design-driven elements.
This is my recent exploration of 3d simulations in Houdini.
How to portray the smoke behaviour?
For this project I wanted to approach the smoke simulation with a different and unique style. I decided to force particles and lines to somehow follow the behaviour of the smoke.
To achieve that I created the abstract, sculpture-like elements which interact with Pyro simulation, on top of which I advected the colourful lines.
All of this surprised me giving this unexpected and wonderful result
